JEMMA FINCH

My practice explores the human body through movement and material. As a former professional dancer, motion is central to how I work. I create large-scale drawings with paper laid on the floor, using my body to “dance” across the surface, allowing movement, weight and rhythm to generate mark-making. These drawings become a physical record of gesture and time. I then translate this work into glass, drawn to its responsive nature. When heated, glass flows and shifts, echoing the dynamics of the moving body. Through this process, I aim to capture movement suspended in material form.

ANETHIA SELLARS

I work in fused glass primarily, creating seascapes, meadow scenes, some of which include my own hand painted silk panels, along with a variety of other styles, all ideal for special gifts and home decoration.
Occasionally I include work with copper foiled stained glass, mainly in organic tree designs , the range is known as the dreaming trees.

SUSAN PITT

Susan’s artistic practice works across glass, ceramics, printmaking, and painting, with screen printing serving as a central method for extending ideas across diverse materials. Drawing inspiration from local history, memory, and the relationship between people and place, their layered processes explore how past and present intertwine. Recent projects include site specific pieces using screen printing with glass enamel, printing onto porcelain, and hand‑painted stained glass, reflecting an ongoing interest in how art can illuminate humanity’s fractured connection with nature while inviting reflection on the world around us.

JILL BAGNALL

Jill creates contemporary studio glass; unique pieces often exploiting the bold colours & visual properties of glass.
“My style is usually informed by a geometric, balanced, aesthetic and the ‘tapestry’ technique, which I love, has underpinned my work for some time. It also allows me to explore almost endless colour combinations; from tonal variations to striking opposites.”
“I’m currently experimenting with 3-dimensional fusing and hand manipulation of fused glass. The resulting shapes are by nature of the process, bold & organic, and I’m excited to add this hands-on ‘twist’ to my work.”
Jill works from a studio at her home and has been running workshops in Shropshire and beyond for 10 years.
She is a long standing member of Shropshire Guild of Contemporary Craft and the Contemporary Glass Society
